Refund policy

At Karintō Edition, we would like you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your order, we're here to help.

Overview

Return Window: 14days from the date you receive your order to initiate a return.

Notification Period: Please contact us within 10 days of receiving your order if you wish to return all or part of it.

Item Condition: Returned products must be unused, in original condition, with all tags attached, and in original packaging.

Refund Processing: Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.

Exchanges: We don't offer exchanges. If you'd like to replace an item, please place a new order through our website.

Gift Returns: To return a gift, you'll need the order reference number and delivery postcode or email address from the gift-giver. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

Gift Vouchers: Gift vouchers are non-refundable

Return Shipping

UK Returns: There is a return shipping charge of £4.95 for all UK orders. This will be deducted from your refund amount.

International Returns: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and any applicable customs duties or taxes. Contact us at hello@karintoedition.com for location-specific return instructions

    How to Return a Product

    1. Contact Us: Email hello@karintoedition.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Please include:

    • Your order number
    • The product(s) you wish to retur
    • Reason for return

    2. Return Process

    • We'll provide you with a return label for UK returns and inform you of our return address for international returns.
    • Ensure items are unused and in original packaging
    • Use a tracked service and keep proof of postage
    • Include your sending address on the parcel

    3. Refund Processing

    Once we receive and confirm the item is in saleable condition, we'll process your refund to the original payment method. Outgoing shipping costs are non-refundable unless the product was damaged or faulty.

    • We'll provide you with a return label for UK returns and inform you of our return address for international returns.
    • Keep proof of postage until your refund is processed
    • Original packaging should be included where possible

    Damaged or Faulty Products

    While we carefully check all products before dispatch, issues can occasionally occur. If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please please let us know within 72 hours by Email to hello@karintoedition.com with,

    • Your order number
    • Detailed description of the damage or fault
    • Photographs of the damaged product, interior packaging, and exterior packaging from various angles

    Important: Evidence is required to verify damage and raise courier claims

    Resolution Options:

    • Refund: Processed in full once we receive satisfactory evidence
    • Replacement: Sent as soon as possible (subject to availability)
    • Product Retention: Please keep the damaged product and packaging until we confirm next steps.

    All return and redelivery fees are covered by us for damaged or faulty items.

    Faults After Use

    Damage sustained after use isn't eligible for refund or replacement. However, if you notice a fault within the first 14 days of use, contact us using the process above. If there's no evidence of mishandling or misuse, we'll arrange a full refund or replacement.

    Return Condition Responsibility

    You're responsible for ensuring products are returned safely. If a product is returned damaged or in different condition than received, we cannot issue a refund or replacement.

    Please package all returns carefully in original packaging and use tracked shipping. Keep proof of postage so you can trace your return or raise courier claims if needed.
