Trays do a quiet kind of work — gathering things together, carrying them across a room, creating a small contained space on a larger surface. A wooden tray with a cup, a sweet, and a folded napkin is a complete moment in itself.
At Karintō Edition we carry trays in Japanese zelkova, cherry wood (sakura) and ash from makers across Japan. Many come in various sizes, to be used together or independently. Each piece has a unique expression and will age well, as quality woodwork always does.
