A Japanese zelkova tray in the yukiwa shape — snowflakes, an auspicious motif symbolising a bountiful harvest. Designed by Oji Masanori and made by Aizawa Wood Works in Wajima, Ishikawa Prefecture.
The KITO series is built around the concept of "together with the trees," made from proprietary stock of 100-year-old wood and finished with a food-safe liquid glass coating that preserves the natural texture while allowing easy cleaning.
Available in two sizes — small for a mug and a sweet, medium for tea time or as a decorative tray.
KITO trays and plates are based on traditional Japanese motifs found in architecture and the decorative arts.
