A hand-painted rice bowl from Nakagawa's Good Day Rice Bowl series, decorated with peonies and butterflies in the traditional aka-e style — a form of overglaze red enamel painting with roots in Edo period ceramics.
This design was created in collaboration with Zoho Kiln, a Mino ware pottery known for bold patterning. Each bowl is hand-painted, with the red clay body providing a warm, textured contrast to the refined brushwork. No two are identical.
Compact and comfortable to hold for adults and children alike. Capacity ranges from around 100g to 180g of cooked rice.
