This is a fantastic rice storage bowl that excels at reheating—bringing yesterday's rice back to freshly-cooked fluffiness.

Created by Nakagawa for storing, reheating and serving in the same container without transferring. Simply microwave to restore perfect texture: about 2 minutes for single serving size, 3 minutes for donburi size (500W).

The secret lies in Iga-yaki clay's countless microscopic pores that absorb excess moisture during storage. When reheated, these pores release moisture to regulate balance and keep rice fluffy. The unglazed underside of the lid absorbs moisture readily, preventing stickiness.

With lids included, these bowls eliminate cling film and stack for storage. Available in two sizes: single serving and larger donburi size. Different sizes nest together for compact storage too. The natural clay character and tactile unglazed bottom make these bowls perfectly handsome to bring directly to the table.
