A versatile ceramic jar with lid, handcrafted in Ishinomaki, Miyagi, Japan.

Created in collaboration with Minowada Kiln, and made using materials sourced around Ishinomaki — clay, Inai stone, rice-husk ash, and scallop shell. Each piece is wheel-thrown and finished by hand, with a pattern inspired by Ishinomaki’s winds and waves. The Ishinomaki Blue glaze varies naturally from piece to piece, giving each jar its own quiet expression.

Wide-mouthed and stable in shape, it’s ideal for all kinds of food storage — or as a beautiful pot to keep small items on your desk or dresser.
