Mino Ware Teapot – Frustum Series

A Mino ware teapot made by Shinzan-gama Yamatsu, a kiln in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture, with more than 150 years of history producing practical ceramic tableware.

The body is gently tapered, with an integrated strainer that lets tea leaves open fully while keeping pouring smooth and controlled. The ceramic body is made in Mino; the metal handle is produced in Tsubame, Niigata — a region known internationally for precision metalworking — bringing together two specialised craft traditions.

The black pot is paired with a brass handle in a warm gold tone. The grey pot carries a stainless steel handle with a clean silver finish.
