Created by Nakagawa in collaboration with a Mino kiln as part of the "Essential Set" series—designed for effortless daily use of regional Japanese tableware. This piece showcases Mino ware's distinctive character, where flowing glaze and irregular shapes are appreciated as beauty, whilst blending naturally into modern table scenes.

Just over 21cm, this versatile size works beautifully for toast in the morning, pasta at lunch, and mains in the evening. The raised rim holds sauces or liquids well.

Available in three traditional glazes: "Kairagi" light grey with its crinkled, granular texture beloved by tea masters; "Tsuchi-hai" beige—a warm, earthy colour and texture; and "Ao-Oribe" featuring striking green developed under Furuta Oribe's guidance.
