Celadon mug with distinctive crackle glaze. Crafted by Kosen Kiln in Imari, Saga, a family-run pottery preserving centuries-old Nabeshima and Imari ware techniques.
Generously glazed with celadon made from high-purity celadon stone sourced exclusively from Ōkawachiyama in Imari. The crackle effect is created by utilising the difference in shrinkage rates between the clay body and glaze during firing.
