This elegant set of two pairs comes from Nakagawa's collaboration with Shitsurindo, an Echizen lacquerware maker in Sabae City, Fukui, preserving traditions passed down since the mid-Edo period.

Each pair is crafted from durable, water-resistant ironwood with an octagonal shape that fits comfortably in the hand and provides excellent grip. The wiping lacquer technique brings out the natural wood grain with translucent depth and gentle texture, while the top section features a glossy true lacquer finish that adds refined contrast.

The set includes one red pair and one black pair, beautifully presented in a paulownia wood box—making this an ideal gift for weddings, housewarmings, or celebrating special moments.
