Created by Jicon, a porcelain brand rooted in the 350-year history of Touetsugama kiln and the Imamura pottery family of Saga. Founded by Hajime Imamura in collaboration with designer Oji Masanori, Jicon brings generations of white porcelain techniques from Mikawachi and Arita into contemporary daily life.

Rather than Arita ware's typical pale blue-white perfection, this dish features a semi-matt finish reminiscent of antique porcelain with nostalgic texture. Made using local Amakusa porcelain stone and traditional glaze application methods, it is porcelain that retains a sense of warmth.

The medium-sized deep dish holds liquids well and works perfectly with saucy dishes—a good size for a single portion. The small size works well as a sauce tray or as a petit fruit plate. Also also functions beautifully as an elegant accessory tray.
